Script, Production and Direction :
  • Production Designer in Hindi feature titled, Kaun Ho Sakta Hai, produced and directed by Mr. Hersh Kohli, in Oct 2004.

  • Part of creative team and assistant director, in a Hindi feature film, titled, The Hope. Worked on the script, with actors during shooting and editing. (Produced in 2003)

  • Acted as a participant in a computer education TV show titled, ‘Boot it’ (26 episodes) produced for NIIT.
  • Scripted and Directed 26 episodes of an anchor based show titled, 'Mega Hit Parade', for Plus Channel. The series was telecast on Star Plus between July 99-Jan2000.
  • Conceived and directed 2 promotional films for a music album, 'Gems', produced by Plus music.
  • Partly Directed, 'The Windmills in India' (Documentary by Ole John, 1989, Denmark

These five films
were made to present and promote innovative teaching methods of Dr. R. Varadarajan, founder-principal NES, Mumbai. First 2 films participated in the IDPA festival Aug 2003.
Technical Director:
In the consultancy team led by Mr. Ketan Mehta, for Doordarshan News channel on a 3-month assignment (Jan 2000-April 2000).
General Manager:
Maya Entertainment Ltd for a brief period.
Production Manager:
For 'Raj Kapoor', a documentary by Siddharth Kak made for Films Division.
Studio Director:
Designed the studio for live telecast of lessons at eTL, Mumbai, a ‘distance learning’ company. Also made 3 short promotional films for them.

Hindi adaptation of English commentary for a documentary titled, ‘Silk and Iron’ by NGOs, Abhivyakti-media for development, Nasik. (Nov. 2003)

Hindi adaptation of English commentary for 'Manav Yatra', a 100 min. Documentary by Siddharth Kak on Baba Amte’s Bharat Jodo cycle march, Kanyakumari to Kashmir (1986)

 

Narration:

Narrated Hindi commentary for documentaries titled, ‘Satyagraha' and 'Bhoo Adhikar Andolan', made by Abhivyakti-media for development, Nasik.
 
Faculty:
  • Invited as visiting faculty for media students at Wigan & Leigh College, Mumbai (March 2006).
  • Work-shop for ‘Sound Students’ of TV wing at the FTII, Pune (Feb 2006).
  • Post production consultant ‘student-films’ at the FTII, Pune (June-August 2005).
  • Guest lecturer at the SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai, teaching ‘Importance of Sound in Media’ to post graduate media students (Starting 2003).
  • Faculty at Digital Academy, MIDC, Mumbai for, 'Sound Craft' (2002).
  • Developed course content (on PPT) and delivered online live lectures on basics of ‘Photography and Sound’, at e-Convergence Technologies Ltd, Mumbai (2001-02).
  • Worked closely with 'Schools Online', (presently American India Foundation) during its launch in 2001. It started with the process of selecting 10 deserving Mumbai schools; where teachers and students were trained for creative use of computers and Internet.
